    Every time Blizzard makes changes to WoW you see the huddled masses cry out, OMG IT"S ALL OVER!! You would think that Blizzard wasn't in this to make money, that they didn't care about subscriptions, and wanted to drive us off their servers.

    The fact is, Blizzard cares about one thing, profit. In order to profit, they need us playing the game. If they dropped a 250 page scope document that fully detailed every class change and every detailed mechanic difference that we would see in Cataclysm, most peoples heads would explode. The bitch of it is, they give us bite sized pieces, and most peoples heads explode.

    We're announcing these changes now to pave the way for other information to come. It's important that people don't freak out. We're not going to break your class -- though there will be many changes to the game - ones we believe are positive changes. For now we ask that you just digest the information, try and absorb it, and wait for more specific class information to release before you scream that the sky is falling.


    For those keeping track, I'm pretty sure this isn't a quote of Geng... but damn it sounds like it.

    In an epic wall of text Eyonix has dumped a massive amount of data about Cataclysm out to the public. This combined with a zone wide ICC buff that will trivialize content for those farming it, and make it possible for those up against a wall to progress leads me to believe that we will see Cataclysm no later than mid summer.
